Safe Skating Guide at Cambridge Ice Rink

We want you and every other visitor to the ice rink to have a wonderful time. But most of all, we want you to be safe. So please read the following information before you take to the ice and listen to all instructions from our Ice Marshals.

Weather

The rink can operate in nearly all weather conditions. This is an outdoor event and no refunds will be given due to inclement weather. In the unlikely event that the Duty Manager deems it necessary to close the ice rink, alternative sessions may be offered for skating, subject to availability and at the discretion of the Duty Manager or Ice Rink organisers. PLEASE NOTE that once booked, tickets are non-returnable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

Minimum Age / Adult Supervision

There is no minimum age for children. However, the smallest skate size is children's size 10, we also have double bladed skates that strap to a child's own shoe for smaller children. If a child can stand, they can skate.

All children 8yrs and under must be accompanied on the ice by an adult, with a maximum of 3 children per adult.

All children 12yrs and under must be accompanied to the rink and be supervised by an adult. Accompanying adult(s) are not required to skate.

What To Wear

The Ice Rink is cold, though skating will soon warm you up!! Skaters are advised to wear warm comfortable clothing and thick socks. Gloves should be worn. Woolly hats are allowed but no trailing scarves please!
